Activities

We are a boating club who enjoys the comradery of the fellowship of boaters. Here are some of our activities that take place in Colorado and distant waters.

Colorado Boating and Sailing

Sailing School

Each year our members enjoy several on the water sailing, paddling, and power boating events in and around Colorado. For a partial list of lakes see the Colorado Sailing Guide on our Community Forum.

Sailing Rendezvous' and Buddy Boating

Sailing Elsie

Every other year (or more) we have a Boating Rendezvous at cruising destinations out of state. Recent trips have included Catalina Island, California, The Great Lakes, and cruising out of Mt Desert, Maine. These events are usually coordinated by an experienced member and may include trailering a boat or chartering, depending on the preferences. There are also many opportunities for Buddy Boating where a member will be traveling to a location and inviting other members to join them for some or all of the event.

Membership meetings: Members, guests, and visitors are welcome to attend regular meetings which are generally held on the fourth Thursday of each month, except during the summer boating months. The current meeting place is the United Methodist Church in Boulder, Colorado. Link to Google map: Meeting Location
